About RoomShare Africa

Who we are

RoomShare Africa is a roommate and room-rental marketplace that helps people find safe, verified places to live and helps landlords fill rooms faster. We operate across South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, with local pricing, cities, and listings for each market.

How the marketplace works

• Seekers browse listings, shortlist rooms, and message providers in-app.
• Providers publish room listings with photos, pricing, and house rules — free to list.
• Premium Early Bird gives Premium seekers first contact access to brand-new listings for the first 14 days after publish.
• Country switcher keeps you on the right market so you only see rooms in Nigeria when browsing locally.

Our mission

Make finding a room across African cities simpler, safer, and more transparent — with verified profiles, clear messaging, and tools that respect local markets.
