By accessing or using RoomShare Africa, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to use RoomShare Africa. The platform operates in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, and Zimbabwe.
Providers are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their listings under local housing and advertising laws. Providers must not misrepresent their properties, rental terms, or personal identity.
Seekers must not misrepresent themselves to providers. Seekers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering any rental agreement.
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe, with Feature Listing via DPO Pay where applicable). You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
You may not use RoomShare Africa to post fraudulent listings, harass other users, spam, or engage in any illegal activity. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
RoomShare Africa is a platform connecting seekers and providers. We are not a party to any rental agreement and are not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions between users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence (including Nigeria, Kenya, or Zimbabwe). Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, unless applicable law requires otherwise. This clause is subject to legal counsel review.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
